Start a Young Peacebuilders (YP) Branch!
As a Branch Coordinator you will take responsibility for developing a YP partnership and Young Peacebuilders Club (YPC) in your community or region. In doing so you will work with us to first explore, clarify and identify the Branch and people you will be working with. You will form and develop relationships within your community to help establish the presence of a YP Branch and create a well developed action plan. Once a plan has been finalized operation will begin and you will be responsible for keeping YP up to date with your progress and needs.

The Branch Coordinator is someone who has a passion for youth and peacebuilding and wants to work with YP to develop and form a YPC in their community. The Coordinator will start and/or strengthen a (sub)national partnership to better engage young people as peacebuilders. They will help start and strengthen a YPC with support and guidance from YP. Other responsibilities include resource development and communication. You will help identify, pursue, acquire and manage funds for the peace clubs. You will communicate consistently with the YP team abroad and with local partners.

What is a YPC?
YPC’s support children and youth as they discover violence, inequality and neglect, and then create projects that wage peace in their community and world. In doing so they will learn to work with others to create a more peaceful future.
